An erect annual herb 30-120 cm tall. Leaves aletrnate, simple, rigid, spinosely serrate, sessile or shortly petiolate, 3-15 * 1-5 cm, oblong-lanceolate or oblanceolte, entire or dentate-lobed.

|
It is cultivated mostly as a rainfed crop for its seed oil and dye from florets. It requires fertile, fairly deep, moisture retentive and well drained soil. IN some areas, it is also grown on black cotton soil, loams and light alluvial soils under dry and irrigated conditions.

About VHCA Herbals - Dr Mukesh Aggarwal, whose
the Chief-Executive-Officer of VHCA Herbals has specialization
