| DESCRIPTION |
|
A large evergreen tree; bark dark grey, longitudnally fissured. Leaves 4-12 cm long; leaflets 10-20 pairs, oblong, 8-20 * 5-8 mm, petioles very short. Flowers yellow, in few flowered lax racemes at the ends of branchlets.

|
A native of Tropical Africa and perhaps southern India. It is extensively naturalised in India and also cultivated in almost all tropical regions.

|
It can grow on soils ranging from gravel to deep alluvial; thrives best in deep loam. It is essentially a tree of tropical climate, tolerating temperature upto 47 degree celsius, but is very sensitive to frost.

About VHCA Herbals - Dr Mukesh Aggarwal, whose
the Chief-Executive-Officer of VHCA Herbals has specialization
