|
Globally the species is distributed in SriLanka, India, Myanmar (earlier Burma), Indo-China, Malesia. It is distributed throughout India. This species is native to tropical Asia, globally distributed in Indo-Malesia. Within India, it is found throughout in deciduous forests upto an altitude of about 600 metres in the himalayas.
