a warm hello to all of you.some time ago i posted my query regarding paneer ka phool,,this time i want to share firm information about it...actually it is a plant looks like a closed kamal phool and it's colour is whitish and used in diabities like beejasar...

    yes it is also known as dodi paneer in our area ,and mostly used in diabites

    it is commonly used as blood purifier and in summer to avoid of prickly heat or sumer boils, by these properties of tikat ras ,sheet viry a can be used in diabetes with pitta anubandh

    dear doctor if i am picking it correctly, paneer ka phool can be referred as - Withania coagulans (Botanical Name) SOLANACEAE (Family) distribution: This species occurs in the Hindu-Kush Himalayan range across, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Within India, it occurs in the drier parts of Punjab and Rajasthan, it has also been recorded from the region around Simla, Garhwal and Kumaun. In english we call it as - vegetable rennet, panirband

    Thanks for part info. It will be kind of u to furnish its local name/s, botanical name, photograph/s & possibly its cultivation area. FYI, Ganoderma in near to maturation stage, resembles exact to ur description. Anyway, we must come out & help for us to investigate throughly.

    Very good in diabetes. I m using this in my formulation for diabetes for last 10 yr or so and found very use full. Native of Punjab.Rajinder Pal ji of Karnal mentioned the Botanical Name.

    I use Paneer ka phool snce 5 years, its very effective in DM . I take 4-5 parts & mix in water whole night , next morning filter & use for consumption empty stomach next morning Excellent results
