i think all are telling the botanical anme and no one has come up with sanskrit name.and i will look forward to hear from where to get it? and what is the dsoe and mode of action according to ayurveda?

This herb is available in most of the Ayurvedic shops. People are using it and are befitted too. The botanical name is essential to understand its correct identification. As mentioned by Dr. Ashwini Konnur, I looked in Bhavprakash but there is no mention about Withania coagulans there. Then whether to call it ayurvedic is another issue. There are many herbs like Ginseng, Gingko used in the world but we do not consider them as Ayurvedic herbs. Therefore it is essential to have proper reference, detail understanding and then our question will be resolved in real sense. About Withania coagulans, the article does not say that it is Paneer phool. Is it assuming only or do we have any concrete reference?

me and my guru have been using paneer dana in DMT2 in more than 2000 patients and it definately reduce the ppbs and has not much effect on fbs. fbs responds better with chandraprabha and other bitters. we give its heema i.e 5 grams soaked at night and crushed in the morning filtered and taken on empty stomach. take 12 to 15 days in bringing ppbs significantly to a near normal. but ceasetion of it afaine increase the bs. so a longlasting reduction like vasantkusumakar is not achieved.
